DIY Bridal bouquet

The day came bright and sunny.  In fact, it was so hot towards noon time when the wedding ceremony started at White Oaks, Niagara, Canada.  All the months of practicing making the bridal bouquet finally came to an end.

Eia, the bride, specifically chose each of the flowers and greenery for their special meaning:  At the center of the bouquet is one big Asiatic opened lily representing her maternal Grandma  and ferns scattered with the blooms representing her paternal Grandpa; both have passed away.

She wanted big white sweetheart roses for pure love, white freesia for its innocence and unique scent, blue anemone for protection and peach ranunculus for dazzling charm.

The finished product was surprisingly gorgeous and most importantly, a bouquet that touched Eia's heart.  Everything she ever wanted for a bouquet materialized and she was so happy and proud that her Mom made it for her.

As for the preparation prior to making that bouquet is quite an interesting story in itself and a wonderful experience for me.  All the details in my future posts.
